Charles Goss, PhD, assistant professor of biostatistics, has been appointed as the director of the Center for Biostatistics and Data Science (CBDS) at the Institute for Informatics, Data Science, and Biostatistics (I2DB).
As the director, Dr. Goss will lead CBDS, the primary academic home for biostatistics and biomedical data science within the School of Medicine. Dr. Goss’ role will involve close collaboration with faculty and leadership across the medical school to drive forward initiatives in biostatistics and data science. His leadership is expected to amplify the success of the institute’s faculty and expand the impact on basic, clinical, and translational research efforts.
