Host an Intern for Summer and Fall Semesters

We are excited to share this opportunity to host an intern from our esteemed graduate programs at the Institute for Informatics, Data Science, and Biostatistics. Our programs include the Master of Science in Biostatistics (MSIBS), Master of Science in Biostatistics and Data Science (MSBDS), and Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics (MSBMI). These programs aim to nurture critical thinkers and skilled analysts in informatics, biostatistics, and data science.

A distinctive feature of our programs is the incorporation of an internship, which provides our students with invaluable professional experience and better prepares them for their future careers. During their internships, students integrate into research teams and contribute to data management, data analysis, data interpretation, or the development of informatics solutions and tools.

Additionally, we encourage them to participate in manuscript preparation for submission to academic journals. Our students are required to complete 300 hours of internship work, divided into 150 hours per semester across two semesters. They will receive academic credit for their participation, though they will not receive financial compensation.

Internship Periods:

  • Summer Semester: June 2 – August 8
  • Fall Semester: August 25 – December 6

For more information or to participate, please visit our website and complete the application form by March 1 via the link provided below.
